Does your child have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder? Are you unsure where to start with communication and language? As a therapist who LOVES working with autistic children and has for many years, I am confident I can assist you in connecting and communicating with your unique little one.

-
Is your child having difficulty answering simple questions, understanding basic concepts, or following directions?
Is your child having difficulty communicating their wants/needs, using complete sentences or telling you about their school day?
I offer expert guidance and individualized therapy for increasing language and communication skills to meet YOUR child’s needs.
-
Does your child recite entire lines from their favorite television show but struggles to communicate basic wants and needs? If so, your child may be a gestalt language processor. I am here to answer your questions and help your child develop language that is self-generated and functional for daily life.
As a clinician formally trained and recognized by the Meaningful Speech organization, I can help to support your child in moving from reciting scripts and song lyrics to self-generated, flexible language using Marge Blanc’s Natural Language Acquisition framework.
-
Is your child getting frustrated when they talk because they are oftenmisunderstood? Are you and others finding it difficult to understand your child’s speech?
I provide therapy to address articulation and phonological disorders, helping your child communicate confidently.
-
Does your child have a limited sound repertoire or difficulty forming movements for speech? Have you tried speech therapy targeting a “speech sound disorder” but did not see much progress? Your child may be experiencing Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
Trained by leading developers in evidence-based treatment for apraxia, I am knowledgeable and confident using skilled intervention such as DTTC (Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing) and ReST (Rapid Syllable Transition).
Using evidence-based treatment methods rooted in principles of motor learning, I can provide skilled intervention to help develop more diverse sound repertoires, ultimately leading to an increase in verbal communication.

Therapy designed to instill curiosity and joy into your child’s interactions with food, decreasing aversions through evidence-based practice that will allow your child to naturally explore what food looks, feels, smells and tastes like. Through messy play and child-led intervention, I can help your child learn that food is fun and interesting rather than something to be avoided. It is critical that children who are texture-averse be given opportunities to interact with food in a way that makes them feel safe and comfortable. Caregivers will be trained on how to implement these strategies at home for maximum success.
